If an update fails, the previous message remains displayed on the screen. You can simply try the update again.
Please check the following:
- Make sure NFC is enabled on your phone and that your phone is unlocked.
- Make sure to place the NFC antenna on the product.
- Place the phone flat and directly against the keychain, and keep it still for a few seconds during the update.
How to find the right spot in 30 seconds
- Unlock your phone and open the app. On Android, make sure NFC is turned on (Settings > Connected devices > NFC, or from Quick Settings).
- Find your model's spot in the table below.
- Lay the KEEP flat against the back of your phone, on that spot, and hold still for 2 to 3 seconds.
- Still nothing? Slowly slide the KEEP across the back of your phone, from top to bottom, pausing every 2 cm (about 1 inch). As soon as your phone reacts, you've found the antenna: remember that spot for next time. Removing thick cases, card holders and magnetic accessories stuck to the back can also help: they often block NFC.
